Tips | How much is the Import Tariff of Chinese outdoor furniture in USA?

Pls check with the Import Tariff via official website https://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/bychapter/index.htm

Step 1. Checking HTS CODE

Please enter into the above website first, then input the initial 6 digits of Chinese HS code in to the search bar under “Search the current Harmonized Tariff Schedule...”. For example, “940171****” for the aluminum sofa, let’s input “940171” in the search bar. Then we will get the HTS CODE in detail on the left. We could choose the related HTS CODE as per product feature.

Step 2. Checking Import Tariff

Once we confirm the HTS CODE, we will find there is “General ” and “Special ” under “Rates of Duty 1”. “General” is for general import tariff, and “Special ” if for Special import tariff taxed by America government from some countries. You can see “940171” for aluminum sofa is free taxed at present.
